A U.S. Senate hopeful offered her support for a lawsuit by the Tennessee Education Association (TEA) seeking to reinstate Critical Race Theory in Tennessee schools.

Johnson (pictured above) herself is a former teacher.
Johnson’s run for Senate was widely reported upon earlier in the week, but at the time of this writing, there is no evidence on fec.gov showing that Johnson has opened a federal campaign committee. She also does not have a campaign website.
If she does run, she will challenge Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) in a long-shot bid.
“I’m taking a serious look at the race and having conversations with folks that are hungry for better leadership in Washington,” Johnson told Politico. “Honestly, Tennesseans deserve someone who will stand up to corrupt special interests, fight for lower costs so that every family can build a good life and that’s not Marsha Blackburn.”
“There’s a movement afoot in Tennessee, it’s very clear,” she said. “There has been a change in thinking.”
She later called Blackburn a “bully.”
Johnson’s support for the TEA comes on the heels of an announcement that the group is challenging a law passed by the General Assembly and signed by Gov. Bill Lee (R) that bans the teaching of CRT in schools.
CRT is a method of teaching through the lens of oppression, mainly that America is a fundamentally racist country and that certain races have inherent privileges.
“There is no group of individuals more passionate and committed to ensuring Tennessee students receive a high-quality education than public school educators,” said Tanya Coats, TEA president, in a press release. “This law interferes with Tennessee teachers’ job to provide a fact-based, well-rounded education to their students.”
The lawsuit claims that the statute’s language is unconstitutionally vague.
TEA’s main concern appears to be that teaching about slavery will run afoul of the new law. Teaching slavery is not against the law.
Earlier in the week, Blackburn responded to the announcement that Johnson will run against her.
“Senator Blackburn looks forward to making her case of why Tennesseans should re-elect her as their Senator. She has a record of serving Tennessee families and championing conservative values,” Abigail Sigler, a Blackburn campaign spokesman, told The Tennessee Star. “Marquita Bradshaw and Gloria Johnson are liberal Democrats who are out of step with the people of Tennessee and are aligned with Joe Biden’s failed policies that are making their lives tougher every single day.”
Bradshaw is another Democrat primary candidate for the U.S. Senate seat.

Gloria Johnson is a known liar and would say anything no matter how outrageous to cause division and rancor. Her skill set was developed in the most extreme public indoctrination models. She has perfected this process. Truth be told, the only bully here is the failed State Legislator that threw her disruptive friends under the bus when she faced her fellow legislators during expulsion hearings. She got them to cross the line and then stepped back over it when it came time to pull their stunt.
